Day-by-Day Experience
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed. Your journey begins with a visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can watch elephants bathe in the river. Afterward, proceed to Kandy for a city tour, including a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Enjoy an evening cultural dance performance.
Start your day with a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Then, embark on a scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya, often called 'Little England.' On the way, visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about Ceylon tea. Take a stroll through Nuwara Eliya city and enjoy the cool climate before returning to Kandy.
After breakfast, head to Dambulla to explore the ancient Golden Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning cave paintings and statues. In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting wildlife safari at Minneriya National Park, famous for its large elephant herds. Finally, proceed to Sigiriya for your overnight stay.
Climb the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, another UNESCO site, and admire the breathtaking views from the summit. Afterward, travel to Colombo. Explore the city's key landmarks, including Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, and the vibrant local markets. Enjoy a relaxing evening in the bustling commercial capital.
Head south to Bentota for some relaxation on the sandy beaches. Enjoy a boat ride on the Madu River and visit a turtle hatchery. Continue your journey to Galle to explore the historic Galle Fort, a beautifully preserved colonial landmark. Return to Colombo for your overnight stay.
Embark on a comprehensive Colombo city tour, visiting popular spots like the National Museum and Gale Face Green. Spend some time shopping for souvenirs at local malls. Finally, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure, taking home wonderful memories of your Sri Lankan tour.
